Re: Bowl Projections
I agree for the most part, but this is not JUST pertaining to the bowl match. We understand fully the heckling and jeckling part of football, that's part of the fun in the game and also expected from opposing teams. But when you specifically point to players or positions with cruel comments such as ...

Re: Bowl Projections
Also I am glad you mentioned the teams that fired their coaches, check their boards and see how much they criticize the players. The coaches yes, but the players no.

Re: Bowl Projections
To be honest we don't have the talent to stay on the field with right ND now (but we are getting there). We barely beat Rice, lost to Marshall (which fired their coaches yesterday), and barely beat Tulane. We need a winnable game for this young small team to be encouraging.

Re: Recruiting Traction from Bowl Bound Mustangs?
We are pretty well full for 2010 but are waiting on a few guys.
There were a ton of recruits at the game, most of which were 2011 guys. Getting a jump on recruiting for the next year will be huge. UT for example typically fills up half their class with verbal commitments just days after officially ...

See if you can get your hands on some Marshall tape. That should satisfy your curiosity.
Great way to encourage this young team

Re: Bowl Projections
Lets be Honest, a draw of Notre Dame in the Hawaii Bowl would potentially lead to embarrassment, no sterling moore for tate and floyd...thats trouble.
I'm not sure if we really match up with any of our potential opponents well, If we dont get Hawaii for obvious publicity purposes, I hope we draw ...

Re: Ryland Widener, 2010, D-Tackle
Widener, never feel that you need defend your wt or ht to a bunch of "SO CALLED FANS", let your play on the field speak to the COACHES and for itself. You could fit the perfect example of any position and if THEY do not LIKE you, THEY will find fault or will not give you the recognition your hard ...

Re: Team MVP: Who ya got?
Amen. Regardless of wether YOU PERSONALLY LIKE a player or not, fact is, he is still a MUSTANG and I am sure he likely reads this board. What a way to support the players and the team overall.
