Re: Zach Line on The Ticket this morning
Everyone knows Margus Hunt goes early, in round 1 or 2. After that, I think Line, Reed and JG get picked, and Pittman, Spike and DJ get free agent tryouts.

Re: Johnny Manziel Transferring to DeVry Tech
His 15 minutes are so over. I can't believe so many people fell for it.
If that's the case, what's the NFL future for this kid? Will a team look at him and think "winner, an athlete who can make plays" or just "undisciplined (on and off the field, based on some of the rumors) guy with average ...

Re: Montana State announcing SMU added to 2013 schedule
Pretty sure it was Bennett, not JJ, who scheduled the Baylor and A&M games, and getting out of at least one of the non-conference games makes sense. Personally, I'd vote for A&M, but whatever. I'd like to see Baylor stay on the schedule, with games against TCU and some combination of Rice, UTEP ...

Got to like the fact that the player that list says is the top player in Texas is listing SMU as one of his choices.

Re: Equestrian: SMU vs. LSU/Baylor
Overall, a nice performance from SMU. After only being up 3-2 after fences the Mustangs really put on a good performance on the flat to get to the 5-5 final. The raw score tiebreaker ended up only being 11 points.

Congratulations, Mustangs!
I'm guessing every player could beat me handily, even with a handicap of 30 or more.

Re: Zach Line on The Ticket this morning
They could, but they don't use that style of big, burly back. Jerry is enamored with people he thinks (in his extensive career as a talent evaluator ... hahaha) are the proverbial home-run hitter who can take any carry for a touchdown if they find a hole in the line. Perhaps because of his size, the ...

Then what's the scoop on Kingsbury?
I thought he was viewed as something of a favorite son, coming back home.

Re: Projecting Starters - OLine
Me too, although there was a lot of excitement about Seaver Myers at the start of last year, too, and I wonder if Kris Weeks could flip over to the other side of the line and make them all better with all 3 competing for the job.

Re: More DMN Pub
More fine work, from the DMN, which lists J. R . Brooks among the key losses on the offensive line and Dontae Levingston among the key returnees.
I'll stick with PonyFans.com, thank you .
Me too. The fact that the DMN makes such mistakes is embarrassing.
I don't think it's Kate, either. Isn't she ...

Was there really a need to vote on this? Two-time defending C-USA rushing champion.
Seems like a no-brainer to me.

Stopping Williams will be key for Ponies
I haven't looked at Pitt's stats, so I don't even know how many play, but was kind of shocked to see Pitt has SIX guys with the same surname. Has there ever been a team with so many guys with the same name?

Re: Pitt--what about their recruits?
I'd be OK with that. Pitt has a history of some very strong offensive lines.
