Re: Burger wars, re-visited
Coincidentally, I was thinking about this yesterday. PK said several times that he would like to get together sometime and have a burger without having to rate it. So, anyone up for a Point Burger this weekend? Its been a little more than a year since we started the war, we could call it a reunion.

Re: Question for PX
Before finals started Voc was doing the teams off-season workouts and playing pick up with the rest of the team. His back doesnt seem to be bothering him excessively at this point.

Re: ACC swoons over Miami
So Cal I dont know why some decisions were made or not made. Why things were done or not done. I only know what I've thought and said for a long time. My opinions were not shared by people who made the actual decisions, and I cant speculate on thought processes that didnt make sense or seemed ...

Re: CRAZY - but could be fun
I remember that. SMU had a varsity/alumni game once in 1986, I believe. Thats where I got my first Hacksaw Duggan autograph. ponyte played in that game, too. Then there was an alum vs. alum game one year during the DP, but they havent done it since. Miss. State had a varsity/alumni game a few years ...

Re: PX Question
Right now I dont see us being signifigantly different next year, either for better or worse. We have 4 starters coming back, but the one we lost is the guy who put the team on his back and carried them when things got tough. Besides the points and rebounds, Q was also one of our primary ballhandlers ...

Re: 2003 team
Right, all 1-A and 1-AA schools play in the same Div. 1 basketball tournament, and the AA designation refers only to football. I have to retracct my previous statement, looking back at a few basketball players who have transferred to 1-AA schools, I think they all had to sit out a year, too.

Re: 2003 team
One recruit didnt have his test score when he committed, but he's qualified now.
A&M-CC is 1-AA, I believe a player could transfer there from here and play immediately. Going to another 1-A school, he would have to redshirt. Talking specifically about Craft, if he had to sit out someplace, he ...

Re: Voc
To sum it up quickly, what you see now is what you get. His knee joint has made as much progress as it is going to. He may be able to strengthen the muscles above the knee, but the connective tissue of the joint is not going to improve. Some of the other injuries he's had to work through, his back ...

Re: Billy Tubbs Back Again
I dont think I am naive, and I am a bit surprised that the football coaches didnt sign any JC players this year. Bennett told me earlier that he was interested in recruiting JC players, and during the season we seemed to be pursuing some. Perhaps its time to ask Bennett again where he stands on this ...
