I'm afraid that McMurtray will not see playing time this year if what I have heard through the grapevine is true. I've heard that the other kicker's parents socialize with the coach and also has a contract to provide the coaches cars to drive. It's pretty hard to compete with that.

Wonder why a scholarship was offered to Stephenson and then the kicking job yanked from Mac so quickly after only one missed field goal? That doesn't seem like coincidence to me.

How does Trent's stats compare to McMurtray? Don't know anything about him. McMurtray's stats seem impressive. I think the snapper/holder/kicker need more practice time together as evidenced by the mishap with the snapper/holder during the extra point attempt. McMurtray has a powerful leg, but he is ...
