Re: #26 AP and CoachesΓÇÖ polls
This is great news. I think #21 Cincinnati and #22 Virginia will both lose this week, which will put us in the top 25 going into bowl season.

Any chance the SMU coaches will reach out to these players?
Any chance? Of course there's a chance.

If they see themselves being recruited over and want to go somewhere they can see significant playing time, then ...

Longhorn transfers?
There are rumors that multiple players are not happy in the Charlie Strong system, and may be asking for transfers out of Austin. Some of them are from Dallas. Any chance the SMU coaches will reach out to these players?

Re: Recruiting Journey - FSU Visit
If I were in charge of recruiting, I would take them out to Bob's Steak house on Friday night, the Stadium for lunch on Saturday, and the Capital Grill on Saturday night. Followed by a night on lower Greenville.

Re: Ole Miss at Ford?
Last year UT was at Ford, and a couple of practices were open to the public. I assumed it would be the same this year, but I guess not.

Ole Miss at Ford?
I know that Ole Miss will be practicing at Ford Stadium this week, but does anybody know their practice schedule?
I would like to see Eli Manning before he goes pro.

Re: Baseball anyone?
We would need to add at least two new Women's Teams (softball with its own field), lacrosse with a field, etc.) or cut a Men's sport. I believe we are adding a new women's Equestrian Team. That should bump up the number of women athlete's quite a bit without cutting any of the men's sports. And ...

Re: Baseball anyone?
I really hope that Conference USA forces us to come up with a baseball team, and therefore, a first class baseball facility.
