I agree with you totally that Dement does not seem to build rapport with the players and that he does not seem to be a motivator. (I can't be adamant about these factors because I don't have any inside information.) I am only judging from appearances at the games and the few practices that ...

Ranked reasons for this loss.

1. A shorter, more aggressive team got too many offensive rebounds - Dement's comments were right on, They got 18 offensive boards - 6 more than we did.

2. We had too many turnovers again. Sloppy ball handling and soft passes.

3. Lack of 40 minutes of effort ...

We just can't seem to play with a lead. We got an 11 or 12 point lead at times, and we immediately would play lazy defense. We have no killer instinct and let people back into games.

While at the ticket office this morning, I asked what the estimate was for tonight. Between 5 and 6 thousand was the answer. I think they always over estimate so I will be happy if there are 4-5 thousand. If the students were here we might have had 6-7 thou.
