Same story every year, everyone become a recruiting guru and bases the rest of the country's recruiting based on stars that a bunch of geeks on the telephone assign a player.
Truth is, TCU's recruiting is just in line with years past, just a little ahead of schedule. Gary's ability to scout ...

Re: Poor T.C.U.
Well, spin it however you like, but TCU had conflicts with the date, so it turned down the bowl b/c it had other options. Those options included playing one of the best teams in the country in a bowl where the local community will be there to see TCU play.

Re: Poor T.C.U.
Mr. T,
I don't think LeBreton's article was saying that TCU got screwed by ending up in the FW Bowl. It was just an article about how there was a group of people from Mobile and apparently a few AD's who were trying to stick it to TCU.
I think TCU is going to the best possible place for them ...

Re: Not So Fast - Fort Worth Star Telegram
We have more of a claim to the 1935 national championship than they do, although Minnesota has the strongest claim. We also have had more teams recognized by at least one publication than them. However, we have never been declared national champs by the leading publication of the current year so ...

Just wanted to say congrats...
I think you guys will enjoy the early start times and great fans with USM, Memphis, and ECU. UAB fields some good teams and you know that Tulane is a great school to visit and have around.
I don't know if we'll be around or not...but I think this is a good move for you guys and figure that us ...

Re: Your new uni's...
Yes, I'm glad we played Colorado St. and not someone like Big 12 North Champion Colorado in our bowl game. Of course CSU beat them this year and has two of the past three years. I'd say holding the #17 team in the country to 130 total yds is fairly impressive. Thanks for the well wishes on Patterson ...

Dandy, you sure take a compliment well. I could have come over here talking about the past three years and 138-24, or the fact that, well, you guys suck. Instead I gave a compliment and well wishes. Up yours a-hole, see you at whippin time...November's around the corner.

Re: Your new uni's...
I actually like the new uni's and think Bennet is doing exactly what Fran did when he came to TCU. We went to a darker shade of purple and actually brought in the black too. I'm not a huge fan of that, but see it as a minor change, especially if it's just the pants. I think Bennet is trying to take ...

Re: Avery Cleveland: not committed
Funny how your posts are usually hypothetical or based on what the Internet tells you, and not fact. As soon as Mack and UT can win a conference championship, I'll give them some credit. Of course, it's funny how we're comparing UT and TCU. Hmmmmm....

Re: Avery Cleveland: not committed
You right, saying that we could come take any of your guys is a bit silly. However, we weren't after the same ones for the most part...so it's really just a silly conversation.
