Re: Talking Off the Top Of Your Head!!!!
I agree with Stallion. I don't understand people on this board who seem to think we are loaded with talent. Right now, what I see at SMU is a talented, BUT YOUNG, starting five. Off the bench we have next to nothing. Once you get past the occassional good game from Lowe or Kelly, our bench produces ...

Re: BHop
Oh, PS -- you bet your [deleted] Hopkins will be in the NBA one day! He's the most talented player to come through SMU since I've been following the ponies.

Re: BHop
It looks like Bhop may be hitting the "freshman wall" a little bit as we head down the stretch. He has been inconsistant of late. Same thing happened to Simpson last season. Last night was no big surprise. Like I said before, if we can split on this trip, I'll be happy.

Re: Ponies will beat Nevada
Our team is obviously much better than in the early stages of this season. We still tend to play [deleted] poor defense though. If Nevada scores every time down tonight, forget it. Especially if they are hitting their threes.

Re: What are our chances against Nevada, FS?
I have to agree with Nacho. Beating Nevada at home is much different then beating them on the road, especially the way they have played since the SMU game. Do we have a chance? You bet. This talk of us "easily" going 1-1 or 2-0 on this road trip is a bit optomistic, however. After watching WAC ...

Here are a few thoughts about Patrick Simpson.
1. I was really pleased with Simpson last season until he hit the freshman wall. That wall was still up for about the first 10 games this season, but now he has broken though and is contributing well. I really like seeing him contributing. His ...

the WAC
Right now, it looks like Nevada is the hottest team in the conference...BUT, they have played the vast majority of their games at home, where they are very tough. On the road they have been weak, winning only two games all season. The majority of their remaining games are on the road, including a ...

Re: Ticket contract
Sometimes listening to KSKY feels like listening to a short wave broadcast of North Korean state radio. I too have often played the "position the radio at just the right angle to minimize the static and overlapping Mexican music broadcast" game.

I'm a little concerned about the WACs NCAA tourney prospects right now. With the exception of Fresno, the rest of us are all beating one another. If we keep going at this rate, and Fresno wins the conference tourney, the WAC will only send one team.

WAC finishes
I know this is way out of date, but I just looked at the final polls for football and saw for the first time that Boise State finished at #12 in the coaches poll and at #15 in the AP poll. That is far and away the highest non-BCS ranking. The only other non-BCS schools to make it were TCU and ...

Re: Stallion's Blue Chip Question Marks
I have a question regarding Stallion's post. I'm not quite sure how to word it, but I'll give it a shot.
Stallion names several quality prospects who he asserts will likely end up at schools like Fresno, San Jose, Nevada, etc. Do schools in the BCS conferences ever take these type of prospects ...

I just read that we are last in the WAC in scoring defense. Prepare for the first losing season in a while folks.

I respectfully disagree with the numerous complaints about our offense on this board. I can understand people's frustration. The offense, however, doesn't bother me that much frankly. Our teams have usually been able to score at least a decent number of points night in and night out. I believe our ...
