As Blackie use to write "Scattershooting while thinking about the SMU-TCU game..."

This victory sure makes the Baylor game a bigger loss in the overall season and possible bowl picture...we will have to pick up a win against UAB or Marshall, both games that I had chalked as a loss...This is the first time I have thought about a bowl in years...amazing what one win can do.

For those that were at the game or have seen the replay, was the OL that dominant or was tcu's defense that suspect?

Also, does dooby's avatar change after this win?

The OL was just..unbelieveable the whole night.

Im still mad about whoever dropped that ball in the 1st quarter that would've made it 7-0 SMU (not to mention even more mad with TCU blocking punt the next play)

The game IMO goes to the defense. That was the best I have ever seen our defense play. Not one touchdown the whole night. And the 3 points only came from the blocked punt inside the SMU 30 yard line.

I think we'll beat Marshall but thats just me. UAB however is the team Im most worried about over the whole conference picture.

UTEP in 2nd and the only reason UTEP isnt 1st is because we have them at home.

Our OL was far from dominant, but they were persistent. Those weren't big holes Martin was running through. He's just a very talented guy who waited for a crease and showed good quickness and power hitting what hole there was. In case you didn't notice, Romo had very little time on any pass play that was called. The OL is improving, but I'm still looking forward to next year because we only lose one SR and will have a bunch of mature guys leading the way up front

As for beating Marshall or UAB, those would be greater accomplishments than beating TCU. 1st of all, those are road games. Marshall is a tough place to play as they have a great atmosphere there. UAB doesn't enjoy a lot of fan support, but they have perhaps the best team in CUSA. If we are going to have a winning season, better beat Tulane, ECU and Rice at Ford and then would have to win two of the three against Houston, Tulsa and UTEP. I still say 4 wins this season would be a big improvement. We'll find out how good these guys are next week in College Station.
