SMU no longer a cellar dweller, at least according to CBS

CBS Sportsline ranks us #88 out of 117! We haven't been out of the 100s in 3 years.

Other interesting rankings: Baylor--#87, Tulane--#89, TCU--#65

Some may not think this is all that great, but at this point, I'll definitely take being out of the 100s and ranked above teams like Louisiana Tech, Hawaii, North Carolina, and Colorado State. Good job, Ponies!

It is fun to see a move from 103 to 88 in this one list, but it is early in the year. Big moves are still possible. It is interesting our strength of schedule is 67. To demonstrate we are a 'player', we need to be better than our SOS.

As for this week, Go Ponies. Beat the Aggies.

OK, I won't make myself sound any more foolish than I really am by speculating what the jump might be if we come out of College Station with a win .... but there are a bunch of teams on our remaining schedule who are beatable. Don't know if there are any gimmes, but we're clearly getting better.

Keep it up, Ponies!
