I have to quibble with words here...SMU did NOT deserve to win, it EARNED the win...so many times in the past 18 years there has been a sense of sad entitlement that we receive some type of break because of the harsh treatment by the ncaa and the folly of our administration and trustees. We made the bed, and it was an awful one that we had to sleep in....

This win, well deserved but EARNED, can very well be the wake up call that so many supporters here and closet-fans elsewhere have waited to see for those years. I believe it is dependent on how the team comes out to play the atm game. Like in the tc-who game, when the first quarter seems to be a consistent repeat of past losses, do you duck and cover or do you keep working...HARD... and take the chances that are available to make the big plays. This team very well may be more resilient than any of us may think...much is going to be answered around 11 pm (EST) when we have digested the game and the attitude...BEAT atm SENSELESS...

let's face it...SMU is set up to become a media darling. After all, coming back from the death penalty is something nobody has ever had to do. I don't know if this will be the year, but it needs to happen soon as we will get all the publicity TCU has had in recent years and more.
