Here in the STL the local TV news had an interesting shot of GG's face, when he was told that Michael Sams was being converted to a Center, and that the Rams were giving up the shotgun formation.

I think GG can eat out the starter at St. Louis. I have watched him several times and he has a few issues. Reading coverage, quick decisions and lack of mobility are a few. GG may not make it but I do think he is more athletic and a faster learner than a lot of us give him credit.

Maybe but there won't be a competition for the starter's job. The Rams are adamant about seeing if Bradford can be the guy before they have to make a decision on whether or not to extend him. The only way Gilbert will play in the regular season this year is if the two guys in front of him get hurt.
