looks like Mack Brown may get a win over Oklahoma this year.

it's about time with all the talent UT gets on signing day every year.

but i hope the Sooners will pull-off an upset!

Oklahoma couldn't even beat TCU at home. They are in deep trouble. UT will finally win the "big one." Who wants SMU to play UT next year? Stallion are you up for it?

how long has it been since the Shorthorns beat OU?

how many decades has it been since the shorthorns with all that talent won a football national championship?

We played UT for 80 years and believe it or not they've had some pretty good ballclubs over those years. Sign em up. This Division 1AA mindset from our own fans is pathetic.

Even the aggies and Tech are scheduling 1-AA teams, but I would be much happier if we did NOT. Even Arky State leaves a lot to be desired. I would hope that we would rethink those decisions and try to redo our schedule to get more Baylor type teams on the schedule...even UNT would be more tolerable.

Stallion if SMU wants to get big bucks to play UT I'm not against it but I'm not for it either. I just hope it isn't on tv for all to see because it is going to be ugly.

I don't think we should play 1-aa teams. I do think we should concentrate on the bottom of the d-1 barrel. Once we prove that we can handle that then we inch our way up the ladder.

UNT has pullled one of the great cons of all time in college sports. They win their pathetic conference so people think they must be a fairly good team. The reality is that UNT is a bad team--witness the massacre Tulsa laid on them. With a little smoke and mirrors we can do the same. We can beat up on the bottom of the d-1 landscape (heavy on sunbelt, Temple, Buffalo, etc.) win a few in C-USA and people will get the perception that we are greatly improved. The reality is that we are the same --our competition is just a lot worse. Since the folks in charge of our Model seem to have us stuck in this rut, this is the only way I see to enjoy a little of football season. Just say no to the Big 12!
