They also have 60,000 students. #Beat Clemson
Re: No beer sales at UT home gamesJust pointing out that they do not need to look for incentives to get people into games. The decision is based on different criteria.

Re: No beer sales at UT home gamesYou're right about that, but UT's entire administration is a mess at the moment - a lame duck president, an AD who's not Deloss Dodds and a football HC who only cares about coaching and is not concerned about making everyone happy (he's the anti Mack Brown). Plus, there's an Aggie governor who's policies pushed the president to resign. These are very interesting times in Austin. I guess beer sales are the least of their concerns.

Re: No beer sales at UT home games
That pretty well sums it up.
Re: No beer sales at UT home gamesOther than the Coogs and Ponies, which other Texas schools will be selling beer at home football games this fall? UTSA? After extra security and insurance, I heard beer sales don't make much money. I believe 1 in 12 UH fans get beer but the incidence at Moody Coliseum seemed higher than that. At least the lines were long. However, selling beer may draw more people who can sit at home and watch the games on their big screens.
Re: No beer sales at UT home gameswith the performance of the 'Horn teams on the gridiron recently, I would think drinking would be necessary and encouraged...
just a comment, not an endorsement of the practice. stable-boy for the four horsemen of the apocalypse
