Nice few days for a number of Mustangs in the NFL. Bryan McCann, Ack, Margus, Moore, Banjo, and of course, Emmanuel Sanders all played well.

I know this may change as rosters get trimmed today but players on NFL rosters by college:

Baylor - 21
SMU - 17
TCU - 16
Texas Tech - 14
Houston - 14
Kansas - 9

In fact, SMU would be middle of the pack in the Big XII in number of NFL players...

OU - 41
Texas - 35
Okie St - 25
Baylor - 21
K-State - 19
West Virginia - 18
SMU - 17
TCU - 16
TT - 14
Iowa St - 14
Kansas - 9

Would be interesting to see the numbers for "active roster" and "practice squad" players once final cuts are done.

After roster cuts today...

Jeremy Johnson released by the Bengals, but that was the only cut I noticed among the Mustangs.

It will be interesting to see which of our guys are on active rosters at the start of the season. I hope they all continue to do well...haven't heard about anything on DJ down in ATL and it seems ZLine hasn't been getting many looks lately either at MN.

DJ was let go by the Falcons hours before training camp started back in July. Don't think he's playing anywhere now.

Thanks for the update, that's too bad, I thought they might at least keep him on the practice squad since he produced some last year.
