Prescott actually ran pretty well last week.

Prescott had 1 ten yard ran when no one was expecting him to get the ball and after that he ran about like everyone else. Take away the ten yard run and he had 3 carries for 8 yards.

You could put 1982 Dickerson/James back there, and they aren't getting yards unless the O-line significantly improves from last game and our QB (whoever that is!) can complete passes in order to stretch the defense.

If this is a Zelt Minor situation where we bring him along slowly, allow playing time to increase as the season unfolds, I am okay with that.

Not true. I talked to him yesterday, and he said he missed a little over a week of practice because of a pinched nerve in his neck …. which is a vast improvement over the rumors of a more serious neck injury or the knee injury. Gresham returned to practice Thursday and said the discomfort in his neck has gone away and that he has been cleared to play. Having missed a bunch of workouts in his first preseason camp, he said he does not expect to play this weekend, but was not sure. He also said no decision has been made about whether to redshirt. That, of course, depends on injuries at the position, whether he works his way into the rotation. But no, he does not have a season-ending knee or neck injury.

well, that's good news. If he's the best option, let him play.

As I said - Prescott ran pretty well - it counts even if they were not expecting you to run, or if you had a "long" run. We were awful, no one did much of anything real well, but he did his part pretty well. Doesn't mean he should play more or less, just that he did not play because of "politics."

Prescott did look good in the couple of runs he had. We will most likely rely on the run more as Matt Davis or Burcham grasp the offense.

Love it. You can always expect rebel moron to take a shot at line. So 6 carries for 9 was better then 4 for 18 hmmmm interesting math . Pretty sure line was most in total yards and yards per carries and all purpose yards. Additionllally line was in for EVERY blocking down. Per my count roughly 42 snaps to the next RB who had 21.
