If Hart and the powers to be do not do something all credibility is gone for me that the school wants to actually be successful. I've lived thru it all these years from "the commitment" nonsense, and now this after 7 years of June ball. Basically just requests for more money and very little in return, but more important so signs or plan to get better. I see no improvement, and I think the kids will begin to shut down unfortunately.
Still seems to be no plan for the program. Switching QBs and having those come in off the bench cold and throw deep, take your best LB in Pope and switch him to RB but then don't really use him as a RB ? Why not just let that kid play LB then ? It's like just trying things for awhile to see if the work, then try something else. I think lack of plan trickles down to players and they know their own limitations.
I think if you want to show supporters, fans, potential recruits (laugh, laugh) and the world you really want to be serious about football you do something now during the bye week. I understand the reasons they won't but they really need to consider it. I'm no big level donor, but as of now no more money from me to this program until the school shows me it is serious. It won't matter to Hart and them but if they call again for IPF money I'm just going to laugh. If not going to try to do it right, just drop it and focus on basketball.
