Heard this do many times over the years. When has it happened. Smoke/mirrors. No facts.

I don't care if JJ hangs himself with his rope. I didn't want SMU sports programs to hang themselves with their ropes but they have.

I noticed he was back to the black shirt today, so it wasn't the red shirt last week. Quote of the day today from the announcers, "they did not bring enough ammo for the cannon!" Wow.

In my worst nightmare about the game I would have never imagined this.

After this game, JJ has enough rope to put 3 nooses around his neck.

I've always believed in getting rid of people before they start to experience diminishing returns. That point with June was right after the ASU fiasco.

Amen.

We all know June did a good job the first three years. Good enough that he was hired by a PAC 10 (12) conference team before they unaired him. After that fiasco many of you called for his firing. I was not sure we could afford to fire him and I believed he would continue to work hard to get another big time offer. I was wrong, at least about what June would do. I don't know if we could have fired him at that time, but we sure didn't have to give him the two year extension. Although, at that time, I do not think it was clear, at least to me, that he had stopped trying and we were trying to get into a BCS conference. To get into a BCS conference we needed to have a known head coach, which we had in June, unlike most of his predecessors. By the end of year five I was calling for his firing.

The sad thing is the fan base was finally fully on board from Birmingham to the opener in Waco the next season but by then there was no chance.
