If that's what you think, then you're on the wrong message board.

I think SMU should commit to the run, and I am pro-abortion. Also, we should recruit better.

We tried the "good Christian man" Bennett and the spiritual pagan Jones. Maybe it is time for an islam.

I don't want a football coach who is loudly associated politically with anything to the left or right or in between as far as that goes. We need someone who is a solid guy and who exhibits his values through the way he leads his life instead of someone who yaps about religion and politics. Those folks always seem to be the ones who are involved in scandal, and the media delights in pointing out their faults. Bill McCartney comes to mind in the world of football.

Agreed. I think we have all seen how the most vocally moral seem to actually be the most immoral. Just like how the loudest anti-gay dude is overcompensating for being unable to come to terms with his own extreme gayness. It's a red flag.

Too bad, I think he was a Methodist. One thing that I liked about Landry was that even though he was an evangelical he wasnt in anyone's face about it and he didn't put other people down or accuse them of being satanic just because they had different religious view points than his own. Heaven knows he didn't discriminate against some pretty serious "sinners" on his teams!
