I agree. Despite what the actual on-field product looks like this year, I think the program is better positioned for success now than it has been at any time since 1989. Just need to get the right staff in here who can make it happen.

That being said, I do feel that time is getting short to get this thing done. I've never been one to take the alarmist "we need to do this NOW or forever be consigned to football purgatory" stance, but things are definitely shifting and I think the window is closing pretty fast now. This new staff needs to succeed beyond anything we've seen since 1984 if we are going to have a shot at the big leagues, and they are going to need to get it done relatively quickly.

With a new coach (hopefully Morris), we will now how deep our recruiting problem has been. If we get to six wins will be in great shape next season.

Right off the bat Sherrington trying to insinuate the admissions excuses again. What is June's lack of effort or those mythical admissions hurdles?
