Stanford Cardinal colors are cardinal and white. But if you are taking about the bird then you could also say a lot of mustangs are black.

White, black, and gray are neutral colors. I don't think there is anything dumb about Stanford. You don't seem to have a problem with white and gray but you have a problem with black. Are you prejudice against the color or something?
