My nominee for SMU's next Athletic Director.

My nominee is Steve McCarty who is AD at SFA. Was my junior high coach during his first year out of college, and he led us to an 8-0-1 season, and a district championship.

Probably too old now to consider a change, and is just looking to retire in a few years like Copeland should be this year. :!:

Remember Roy Bailey as a cheerleader when I was in school. If that was because he liked athletics, maybe he could be the Russ Potts of the future :?:

If we're going with folks who know nothing about running an athletic department, why not Kinky Freidman. He thinks he can run the State of Texas, our athletic department has to be easier than that. Cigar smoke filling the AD's office. Making all the coaches wear chaps and Stetsons. Now that would be something. Oh and they all get a pay raise, too.
