Hey guys (and gals),

I just wanted to give a friendly hello from Clemson and congratulate you all on an outstanding hire.

Chad Morris is an absolutely outstanding coach, and more than that he is a great person as well. I would not be surprised at all if you guys have early success with him at the helm. I'm actually from Texas, but my family ties there are with the Longhorns. I moved to South Carolina shortly after I was born and attended Clemson so thats where my heart is. Your administration earned you a new fan today though by hiring Chad. I love his system and I love his style of coaching. Some people questioned what Chad did at Clemson this year, but it was a reloading year full with a ton of injuries and if you look at what he did when he had Deshaun Watson on the field his offense was absolutely outstanding.

If Coach Morris gets his system in place with players that fit the system and buy into it you will be one of the most potent offenses in the country, without a doubt.

I wish you guys the best of luck in the future and I will be checking back on your boards for updates on your staff. If you are wondering my input on the rumors of Jeff Scott and Marion Hobby, both would be outstanding hires for you. Jeff Scott is a god among men at recruiting, and look at the WR's that have came out of Clemson lately (Sammy Watkins, Martavis Bryant, Nuk Hopkins, Jacoby Ford, Jaron Brown) Those are all NFL WR's now. Marion Hobby is an outstanding coach as well. I wouldn't say he is the best recruiter in the world but if you look at what he did with DE Vic Beasley you will know he is a great coach. He Coached Malliciah Goodman at DE who is with the Falcons now as well. And thats just at the DE position. He has great potential which could be unlocked at SMU.

I work in Clemson country (Greenville SC) and have been lucky enough to attend many games at Death Valley, which is one of the coolest venues in sports. Esso club is a must!

Thanks, Texas born. I'm very excited about CM. He and I are almost the same age and I know he remembers well the Pony Express winning teams. I'm ready for a lot of winning to come back when he has his pieces in place.
I had an uncle who was a Clemson grad and booster and I went to a couple of Clemson games when I was younger and had lots of fun and have enjoyed watching Clemson when I can.
