Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. We haven't been able to get fans from the Boulevard into our own stadium for years; and the only fans that travel to away games are basically the parents and band members. I'll believe change is in the air when we can fill our own stadium without excuses or qualifiers as to the opponent. Morris certainly doesn't want to hear the excuses. He is already asking for everybody to be all in, now.
Morris didn't blame the students and fans for not showing up. If you listened to him he said its going to take everyone pulling in the right direction. So how about no more posts that "SMU fans are absolutely the worst" or "keep donating so my son can get his stipend check" or any of your other gems throwing the school that is providing your family with a free education under the bus.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Well, hopefully we won't lose to UNT ever again. Keep TCU.

If he loses to them next year Ford will be a ghost town for the AAC games.

There was a solid SMU contingent at Baylor 2012 game and TCU 2011 game. Not that football dad cares, his only mission here is to trash the fan base

Sbsmith-
Disagree. I think we are all excited to see the change and will give him time to pull it together. I for one will enjoy going to every game and seeing a real staff coach a real offense.
He has one mulligan - next year. After that we should not be thinking one bit about Denton teachers college.

At this point I'm riding so high today I expect a national championship next season. Seriously though, we are going to destroy UNT and whatever other school we put on the schedule. Baylor and TCU I am realistic, but I definitely do NOT think we will walk away embarrassed at the end of the day....that alone is a huge step forward.

We had a pretty good group down at A&M in 2011 as well. Tech in 2010 wasn't that bad either, although I never want to go to that [deleted] hole of a town again if I don't have to.

I think the people that show up will give him time to pull it together but I just don't know how many that will be. You're right about NTSU, starting in 2016 he has no excuse whatsoever to lose to them.
