Fixed it. JasonB predicted 5 or 6 wins and said that it was an experience issue. Clearly it is a talent issue. Just because you look a bigger doesn't mean you have the talent to play. The coaches you talked to were probably SMU so you were getting their viewpoints and to them they might have been talented but their standards were obviously low or they were trying to get you on thee propaganda machine. The cupboard is pretty bare and everyone could see it coming a mile away except the hardcore JJ supporters.

I predicted we would go 5-7 this year. The sole reason for that is because another 5-7 year would make it so much more difficult (and anger more naive outsiders) to sack June. My theory was that nothing is ever easy for SMU, why should getting rid of June be any different?

It's as simple as looking at the total bcs offers the past couple classes had. You could essentially count on one hand. Now I know Sheldon thinks he is so much smarter than every other coach in the country, but anyone with half a brain knows you are doomed in that scenario.
