I like the idea of SMU having won back to back National Championships in the early 80's. They aren't very good with their history, but they have been very complimentary of our stadium, University Park and our once proud football program.

and rice hasn't had a winning season since 1961. they haven't been to a BOWL since 1961, but they have had a winning season.

We did win one national championship in the 80s... some of the voters just got confused at the end of the season and voted us #2.

They were talikng about ECU's fall from grace. I hope they are not comparing ECU's football history to our's.
