Looks like UT wanted him in 2013 but grades were an issue and went Juco Route. From Little Elm - Cole's town. Navarro JUCO - we had several players come from there.
Here is a write up about him.....
Navarro sophomore running back Ke’Aun Kinner has been named the Southwest Junior College Football Conference’s “Most Valuable Player†as part of the all-league vote by conference coaches. Kinner rushed for 253-1696-22, caught 17-109-1, led the SWJCFC in per-game rushing (169.6 yards), averaged 180.7 all-purpose yards, and scored 138 points during the Bulldogs’ 7-3 season. The Little Elm sophomore ranks second in single season carries and yardage at Navarro, and tops the single-season per-game rushing list. For his career, Kinner finishes with 277-1918-26, and 6.9 yard-per-carry average. Historically, his two-year career numbers rank third in rushing yardage and ninth in carries. He shares with Tim Wright the career rushing-TD record with 26. Joining Kinner on the All-Region team were Bulldog teammates — offensive tackle Maurice Porter and defensive end Quincy Vasser, Other regional superlative single honors went to Blinn wide receiver Dede Westbrook and Trinity Valley linebacker Cortney Finney. Westbrook was selected by coaches as the Offensive Player of the Year; Finney, the Defensive Player of the Year.

that's a lot of yards at a top flight JUCO Conference-you usually don't see those numbers from his Soph year. Also ran for about 2900 yards at Little Elm 7.8 ypc

Maybe the Bease will help us out with him.

I coached against Cole when he was in high school. He was freak (obviously). I didn't get to coach against the Kinner kid, but I have some friends who did. They all say that he's the REAL DEAL.
