I guarantee you that as long as SMU is sitting on two wins, Romo plays until he has to be carted off the field.

Another point.... not only is this team learning to win but the coaching staff and head coach.

The notion that the coaching staff is still learning how to coach was something that was tossed around the last couple of years. By staff, you mean Bennett; the majority of the staff is in positions comparable to positions they have previously held. Keep Bennett if you want, but this isn't the reason. Not that head coaches don't learn from their mistakes, but there are many, many coaches that win games in their first rodeo as head coach. And there are many, many coaches that are more suited for coordinator or position coach roles. Bennett has been in this game long enough to know what to do and what not to do. I don't buy the notion that he is learning how to be a head coach. And frankly, I haven't seen a maturation by Bennett, either.

True, on both counts.

You know, that's not a bad idea. We know he'll hit (how many times did he put his shoulder down and run someone over as a freshman?), and we are in need of some athletic LBs. Inside? Outside? He's a very good athlete, so I'd like to see him on the field somewhere.

Again, I like the way you think.

Sounds exceedingly intelligent for a frog. And he's right.
