I have been to 4 mens soccer matches (games) and 7 womens soccer games in the last 4 years. We won 10 of the 11 I attended. The more I go, the more I hate that sport. It's awful. But, I'll go again. We need a few more to "buck up" and go... lotsa room (like Ford) there, too.

I used to think that. But I went to games when I was in school, and I grew to appreciate it. It's a sport in which scoring is at a premium, making all of the chances that much more exciting. In basketball, does a lay-up or a mid-range jumpshot bring you out of your seat? Not often. In soccer, it's an event. I used to be like you -- I hated soccer. Now I'm such an addict that I even go to the UTEP games, and what they play, compared to what SMU plays, is like watching a NASCAR pileup (UTEP) and then watching the Blue Angels fly overhead. It's not even the same game.

Keep going to the games, Bergermeister. It's addicting, I promise you.
