If Chip Brown and Keith Whitmire of The Dallas Morning News would put down their orange and white pom-poms long enough, they could find some real news there in Austin.

You know, how DOES UT recruit so well, year in, year out? What's ol' Vince Young driving these days? Does he go to class? Why is their graduation rate so low? In other words, IS IT POSSIBLE OL' BEVO COULD SKIRT/BREAK THE RULES??

But, no. All they care about is how they can ensure everyone knows what UT "needs" to get in that Rose Bowl this year. They started back in September and are still after it today, 11/11.

Substitute a couple of sports writers from the DMN during the 70s, and
Earl Campbell for UT's star. Nuttin has changed a whole lot except UT,
and A$M found a way to bigger money via the big smelve, and the B(ull)
CS(hit) excluding most of their Texas friends while having ol Smoo
executed along the way.





And I thought athletics was for the fun of it.
