1981 brawl with Arkansas?

Was talking to a former Arkansas QB at the gym on Saturday about a 1981 brawl with SMU at Billy Bob's. I hadn't heard that before. Anybody there?

the logistics of a fight between the Arkansas football team from Fayetteville with SMU football team from Dallas at a bar in Ft. Worth would be difficult

Maybe it wasn't Billy Bobs. I believe it was a post Polyester Bowl thing, so must've been a bar in Fayetteville

There was an SMU/Arkansas brawl around that time at Moody during a basketball game. I remember ducking a right cross from Mario Credit (fans got involved). It was a blast!

The guy I talked to was a really nice guy and said he was the brother of Bill Callahan, OL coach for the Cowboys and I think now the Redskins But I can't find a Callahan who played for Arkansas. Maybe he was bs-ing me. Sure seemed like he knew what he was talking about, even mentioning in detail a Corvette Dickerson drove that night.

Bill Callahan was a QB for Benedictine, a DIII school from 1975-1978.

I have know idea but plausible, he was dating an SMU coed from Midland/Odessa area at that time I believe.
