1.) Beat Utep, Utep goes on to win Hawaii Bowl - 9-3 final record

2.) Houston over Rice this week - Houston to the Ft. Worthless Bowl and wins - 7-5 final record

3.) UAB over ECU - UAB goes to N. Orleans Bowl and wins - 7-5 final record

4.) TCU goes on to win the Las Vegas or Independence bowl 11-1 final record (assumes TCU does't play one of the above)

SMU finishes the year with 5 wins, including victories over 4 Bowl Champions (the Hawaii Bowl Champs, Ft. Worth Bowl Champs, N. Orleans Bowl Champs, and Independence Bowl Champions).

Would at least be something for PB to go on the road with this January . . .
