OL does not give him enough time for more than a couple of reads. It is either read, read, run, or read, read, throw away, or read, read, sack.

OL isn't giving him a lot of time, but yes, it is a pretty simple passing system based on creating mismatches, not forcing the QB to make great reads or look people off.

Part of the issue is that he isn't really trusting his receivers just yet. That will come and we will see a smoother passing game as the season goes along.

I hope his deep ball gets a lot smoother. If he threw those long passes in Arkansas the duck hunters would shoot them down.

Yeah, that one to the left side was pretty bad. Although I gotta admit that when the offense was struggling a little I just wanted them to throw a ball up to Sutton and let him go get it.
