All SMU can do is to put themselves into a position to where they are an attractive pickup for a BCS conference during the next big conference shake up. SMU will always have the benefit of playing in a large media market which translates to $$$ in television revenue. Look @ the former C-USA schools that worked their way into the Big East this past season. Another shake up will come down the line in another 7-10 years. Focus on becoming the class of C-USA, beat TCU on a regular basis & see what opportunities may become available in the future.
