yeah well while playing with Eric Dickerson Ferragamo threw 24 TDs and 31 Interceptions which sucks especially since every Defense keyed on Dickerson during greatest 2 Seasons in NFL rushing History (3913 yards in 2 seasons-122 yards per game)

My point was I think ED suffered more from Bad Owners than anything. Should have paid him in LA, period. He was the number 2 pick so of course he was going to have to carry the team for a couple of years as they were totally rebuilding. And they actually were rebuilding in a nice way with some nice pieces. Everett and ED never really got to play together due to the strike, it took them a while to sign Everett (management), and ED then leaving. Had the Rams paid him, we would have seem him play with Everett, who was pretty damn good before he mentally became scared to play. ED in the backfield, Henry Ellerd and Flipper Anderson at WR, Everett at QB, and offensive line lead by Jackie Slater. A defense lead by Kevin Green...would have been nice to see. Still had to play the 49ers. They never really got much out of the players they got in the trade for ED....one decent season out of Greg Bell where that team was good enough to go the the NFC championship game, would have been cool to see what they could have done with ED as opposed to Greg Bell

Dickerson played for the Rams at a time when the team was going downhill. Ownership totally sucked. As a Rams fan, I was giddy that ED came in. However, I was totally disgusted by the actions of ownership and management. It was all about trying to get a stadium or move the team. Bad enough that the Rams were playing in Anaheim.

ED should have had a better line, and better QB. He should have been the best ever.
