So the winner of Temple/Houston will get a bid to one of the five big bowls, right? Do we know which one it will be?

Yes, since Toledo lost and Temple advanced to the title game, AAC champ assured of NY6 bowl.

And that means more money for everyone in the conference.

Last estimate I saw was about $400K per team. So, less than what we paid JMU to beat us.

$$$ is $$$ and we aren't in a position to be picky about checks given to the AD.

I believe the conference gets around 17 mil. But the speculation will be over soon and we will know exactly how much.

The total is around 17, but most of that is fixed, and not dependent on our we get a team in the NY6 bowl. Here is the additional payout.

Each team selected to play in a “host” bowl will earn $4 million for its conference. In 2014-15, those bowls are the Cotton, Fiesta and Peach Bowls.

The participating school will get a travel allowance, and the conference splits the rest.

NDSU taking it to Jville St in the FCS champ game in Frisco. Bison fans turned FCD stadium into Fargodome south. Guess they had 5000 at a pep rally in Dr Pepper arena in Frisco last night too.
