What reason to play us? Come'on guys... it's football at its best. TCU "gains nothing" by playing SMU, Army, North Texas, or any other of those on that level, in our schedule; yet we still play them. Texas Tech gains nothing by playing Florida International, Sam Houston State, nor Indiana State--wait, maybe they do. 
If you "gain nothing," why play anyone at all? Why does Texas play La Lafayette and 1-10 Rice, but not TCU? Because TCU will hurt their SOS? I don't think so... I think you know why they don't.
