I'm not sure if that is the original or one of the sequals (sp?).

of course. in 1995 I believe they had a 5-way tie (with a 6-5 record) for 2nd place...and aTm was on probation.

so, because they were the one with the longest time since being in (ever) the Cotton Bowl...they went and got whipped by USC like 56-14 or something.

It was something outrageous like that. They showed highlights on the Cotton Bowl broadcast today.

I'm not sure if that is the original or one of the sequals (sp?).
First one. Tom Berenger's character (can't remember the name) was trying to calm the old, veteran pitcher who was freaking out because Cerrano was practicing voodoo, and invited him to abandon Jobu for Jesus.

Not exactly "Gone with the Wind," but the movie it was a pretty funny flick.

Berenger's character's name was Jake Taylor. The old veteran pitcher was Harris.

Another funny part was when Harris drank Jobu's rum and on his way out to the field said "Hey bartender, ol' Jobu needs a refill" and he shortly gets hit by the flying bat. That and the part where Cerrano had told Willie Mays Hays that he wanted to sacrifice a live chicken before their big game against the Yankees and they ended up getting him a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken. Classic!
