will texas have magic comebacks like they did against OSU & OSU? Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
It should be one heck of a game. I agree if Texas gets a lead they know how to finish. USC will have a monumental task to comback against the Whorns. The problem for Texas is that if USC gets the lead, they know how to get to loose balls. And if UT has to pass, Vince Young is no Joe Montana and could get picked. I think its really going to be a matter of who's leading going into the fourth quarter. I think the betting public would do better in this game looking at the over/under bet.

People are in dream world about how bad USC's defense is.
- USC's offense is a lot better than last year. - The only difference between the defense last year and this year is their run defense. Last year, they had a great run defense. This year, they have a run defense ranked in the 30s. That said, believe it or not, USC's run defense is actually ranked higher that UT's. And, remember two years ago when every SMU LB got injured and we couldn't stop the run? The same thing happened to USC this year, and they still managed to finish ahead of UT in run defense. USC gets healthy in the secondary and LB going into this game. They have a much more balanced offense than UT does. USC will be able to control the line of scrimmage against UT. This is going to allow White to run up the middle, and then the outside LBs of UT are going to get exposed for speed to the outside by Bush after the suck in to stop the run up the gut. If/When UT pulls up the safties to stop the outside run, which they had to do against both A&M and Colorado, Leinart is good enough to burn them deep. When UT falls behind, it will take them out of their running game, and because they can't just depend on the passing game, they will struggle as the game goes on. UT will be able to get a push on the offensive line, and will be able to run the ball, but won't be as consistant as USC. Great matchup with 2 great USC DE vs. 2 great UT OT. Carroll will borrow from the A&M game plan. Use 2 linebackers to spy VY and they sit in a zone 5-10 yards off the line, then have your safties deep zone. Give VY the 15-25 yard completion in the zone and see if he can hit it. He couldn't in the A&M game. It will be interesting to see if he does tonight. This game will be lower scoring than people think, because both teams will use their massive o-line to try and establish the run, which will eat up clock. I would DEFINATELY take the under. My prediction: USC 38-17.
