BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

Well we now know that USC 2005 is not the best team ever...*rolls eyes*

Then they christened V. Young as best QB ever *rolls eyes even more*

Congrats to the Longhorns! And ESPN---stop this "best ever" crap

well great is sometimes overused but I've been watching college football for 40 years and think that was one of the greatest individual performances in one of the classic games in college football history. I feel lucky to have even seen this one. This game will be talked about 50 years from now. James Street became a folk hero basically based on 2 plays. Vince Young deserves all the credit he earned.

Congrats to Texas.

I thought it was over once USC got up by 12. Atleast we don't have to hear about how USC is the greatest team ever now.

I like Matt Leinart's postgame comments...

"...when you have a freakish athlete like Vince Young who can throw and run all over you..."

The guy just put up 467 yards almost by his lonesome (with a healthy, experienced O-line with big butts) on a 2-time National Champion (okay, once was a tie with LSU, but who's counting) with a 34 game win streak.

I just keep thinking to myself..."how does a guy stay that friggin' calm back there?"

Fantastic game...completely different than the Orange Bowl, which was great in its own right (Paterno vs. Bowden...wow), but thoroughly enjoyable. And as much as I do like USC, I have to say that it was nice to have LA get served a little humble pie. They do not like humble pie; case in point, they can't handle a pro team...too much humble pie.
