Gotta open with a statement win in Denton. Start strong and play controlled and confidently. Show the growth from last season and prepare the whole squad for the big test next week.

Bad games by UCONN and Tulane and a bad start by Cincinnati won't negatively impact their B12 chances, but a confident and poised start with wins by us can provide positive momentum.

Time to start building on that foundation.
