I hate to break it to you, but we're not exactly suffering because of it. It would have been nice, but I'd rather have this year with an SMU loss, than last year, when we killed SMU again and didn't make a bowl.
Just be happy you aren't on the schedule next year.

Please remember us next year when you are not in a BCS bowl.

Pretty funny that our game with the frogs was back in September, but in January they are still trolling! lol!!! But for the record, I pull for the toadies when they're not playing the Stangs. The reason is, it shows our worthless leadership that if freakin' tcu can do it, smu can as well!

I was pulling for the Froggies in your bowl game this year...because it made our win over ya'll look all the more sweeter! That '1' sticks out like a big sore thumb! And the production crew made sure that S.M.U. was mentioned numerous times during the broadcast by the announcers and with plenty of video of the SMU v TCU game.

It would be nice if one of these years, we get to watch our team go "bowling" instead watching our biggest rival go to another bowl game.

yepper - 65 - i was a froggie for a day as well!!!
didn't see the game nor any other bowl this yr but was glad to see they won!
frankly - i hadn't seen a bowl game in 3 to 4 yrs & found out it wasn't that bad after all -
besides - they don't want to let my team (or conference) be apart of their cartel so why watch 'em play in the first place???
that's the good thing about living here, very, very few people i know are watching or ever watch the bowl games in general in the first place with the exception of the usual usc - ucla fans
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!
For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

Do any of you remember that we beat tcu something like 15 years in a row until the death penalty?

I have to admit that I grudgingly was cheering for the Frogs. I have a dislike of the Big 12 and midwest football. Give me a team of Texans over the Children of the Corn any day of the week. of course, most of the real players for ISU were from Texas but they are traitors to their kind by migrating that far north to play football.

How far is 'too far north'? IMHO, if it's past the Red River...it's too far north. Remember, folks: we're patrolling the wrong border!

Well, yeah--had we done the stuff that SMU did to deserve the death penalty, I think we could have a 15 game winning streak against SMU instead of a losing one...
Maybe we should try and cheat...

Google "Wacker", "TCU football", and 1984.
My guess is that the froggies are sneaking in a cheat every now, and
then when they're certain no BCS schools can find out about it.
