On the OL, we need guys who are simply healthy. Wilds might be ok at guard, but he doesn't look quick enough to play tackle and Briggs has struggled mightily when forced to play LT.

Richards took over at left tackle starting partway through the second quarter and played most of the game there.

And yes, he started preseason camp as a tight end, but it's not like playing tackle is completely foreign to him — he was recruited as a tackle after playing the position at Highland Park.

Was Natour still affected by the ankle injury from the previous week?

Maybe OT is the place for Richards. Certainly his father was a good player in HS, college, and the pros. I remember seeing David Richards play in HP's playoff loss to Permian so many years ago.

On a different note, is it likely that walk-up tickets will be available in Tulsa Friday night?

IMHO - Richards (LT) and Briggs (RT) were a better combo than Briggs (LT) and Wild (RT) against Temple.

Way, way better. Wilds hasn't shown anything.

As suspected, the Temple Game Notes incorrectly identified Ken McLaurin as playing on Saturday. He's still on redshirt list

11 True Freshman
13 Redshirt/Medical Freshman
4 First Year Transfers

Total: 28

FYI, the Tulsa game notes do not reflect the discussion above about LT although it seems likely they are in error.
