Once Again - kicking game

OK - Not saying you can blame this entire loss on the kicking game, but it a huge part of the loss. Memphis always had field position on us, and of course the kick off return was a direct result. Punting ended up OK most of the time but only due to lucky long rolls.

One only has to look at the Memphis kicking game to see what we need. Every kick in the end zone. Punts high and long and hard to return. Perfect field goals.

Why do we not put more effort in getting a great kicking game? It is a big deal and we are waaaaaay behind our peers.

Good kickers and punters come here and start tomorrow.

I was hopeful that kick return wouldn't totally demoralize our guys but I think I was just hoping against hope on that one
