Stallion, you stand corrected

Postby PhirePhilBennett » Wed Jan 11, 2006 12:51 am

Though the general direction of his assertion is of prime importance, his facts aren't entirely true.

Earlier, Stallion said we didn't have any ranked QBs on the team under Bennett:

#12 Joseph Ferguson - 3-star Transfer from Northwestern (who appearantly WAS able to get his credits transferred).
Ranked as the No. 15 dual-threat quarterback on the Rivals100.com

#7 Chris Phillips
A three-star prospect and the No. 28 dual threat quarterback in the nation according to Rivals100.com

#16 Justin Willis
Rated as the nation's No. 27 dual-threat quarterback by Rivals

PS: What ever happened to 2-star Donnie Gilray from Mesquite?

Incidentally: Vince Young and Marcus Vick were the #1 and #2 Dual-threat QBs in 2002.

Jeff Ballard (TCU) was the #41 Pro-QB prospect in 2002
6' 1/2" 4.7-40

Is Ferguson eligible next year, or will that be his sit-out year?

Was Jason Rowan rated in any category when he came out of high school? He's on our roster, too.

Ferguson?

Postby BringBackThePonies03 » Wed Jan 11, 2006 11:39 am

Is there a chance that Ferguson could be our QB next year, or is this out of the question?

He's listed on the roster as a WR.

No I don't stand corrected I said TCU had a series of Texas Top 100 QBs. There are a lot more than 100 3 star players probably more like 150. Joseph Ferguson who I first pointed out to this board is a WR.
