Season Sacks record is 11.5 Luke Johnson in 1999.

Interesting Stats from NCAA Top 50 Rankings thru 9/30: Our Competition: QB Passing Efficiency - #4 UConn, #22 ArkSt, #28 UNT...#47 SMU (Hicks). It wasn't just against us they were effective. Ok I agree it is concerning but SMU has played high power passing offenses in North Texas, TCU, Arkansas State and recently UConn since Edsall is there. As long as they make the stops and create turnovers the yards don't matter much. Any games SMU loses will be because of the offense not being able to score in my opinion...
