Citing Rhyner (or anyone on the Ticket not named Norm Hitzges or Rich Phillips) as a reference weakens any statement and/or argument.

I wasn't citing Rhyner as a reference on anything. Take a look and re-read the statement. I just merely quoted his "Don't dude me, man" because I didn't appreciate the dude comment.

SMU is INVISIBLE in Dallas.

And I agree, it starts with the media. To them, SMU is not Dallas' D-1 team. They even don't begin to approach it that way. Even if we win in this climate, it's a second-rate story.

I remember after SMU had beaten Arkansas for the third time in a row in the mid-nineties, the story was a tiny corner at the bottom of the front page.
