This is the day that made the Hallmark guys billionaires, and I'd love to know how flowershop owners sleep at night around this time of year. Saw a sign last night offering a dozen roses for $89. For 12 flowers that will die in a few days. They're a bunch of crooks.

Flowers are for guys who are dating or engaged. Us old married coots know that cards are the way to go. Wives save those things forever and they pull them out and read them again and one card gets you years of good vibes. Flowers you have to do, over and over and over again.
