regarding Dale Hansen....
Last night I was watching News 8 at 10. Dale Hansen had a report about SMU hosting the C-USA Women's Basketball Tournament and they had your coach and one of your players (she's fine), yada, yada, yada. Well....I noticed when Hansen said "SMU"....he raised his eyebrows. And this is not the first time I noticed this. Does he has something against SMU? My SMU friends tell me he (and the DMN and Belo) have issues with SMU...but I want to hear it from you. Is is true?
I noticed when Babe Laufenberg, Mike Doocy, Newy Scruggs and Bob Irzyk say something about SMU.....they just say it...it's part of the news. But Hansen...the tone of his voice....raising his eyebrows....
Inquiring minds want to know...
Thanks.

Just my two cents.

his pet hampster Polly was eaten by the poodle of a former SMU ball boy. When does football season start?

You could say that...issues would be putting it mildly though I'm not sure who has the most issues with who...him with us or us with him.

I was going to shoot ol' Dale an email thanking him for the pub regarding the women's tournament. Wouldn't you know that WFAA doesn't conveniently list the address. Someone on here posted it once...I'm guessing it's probably [email protected] or some such. Anyone know?

Hansen's hamsters and weasels aren't pets.
They are toys. As in Richard Gere kind of toys....
Sorry Webmasters...

Don't bother, Dale doesn't read his emails, especially if they're from an SMUer.

Yeah he does. I made a freshman ask him if Peruna really did eat his Rolex, as was rumored. His reply was "haha no, wish I'd ever had a Rolex", and he wasn't a total [deleted] about it or anything.
BTW, Peruna_Ate_My_Rolex, who does your screenname refer to, if not Dale Hansen? He was the only one I was ever told. I suppose we could all say Willis Tate, or Bob Hope, or Coach himself, but did this really ever happen?

Dale Hansen is the most brillant, wittiest, best-looking, hardest-working, most original sports anchor in the universe....if you don't believe me just ask him and he'll tell you the same thing..
Has anyone ever seen Dale Hansen and Marvin Zindler in the same place at the same time ??
