Re: ESPN/ACC new media deal - $7M per schoolMaybe the conference can spend a bit of that money on basketball refs.
Re: ESPN/ACC new media deal - $7M per schoolThat's great and all but lets put it in perspective. Power 5 schools get $30M+.
Re: ESPN/ACC new media deal - $7M per school
And for further perspective, MWC (not Boise) get less than $1mm. CUSA gets about %700k Back off Warchild seriously.
Re: ESPN/AAC new media deal - $7M per schoolBut is this enough to make up for the lost revenue from the quality of BB and the failed reseating?

Re: ESPN/ACC new media deal - $7M per school
Thank you - glass half empty - for the unrealistic expectation that our small private school on the top of the NCAA violation watch list, is not in alignment with the large public institutions and conferences. When are we lighting the torches and storming the castle in Bristol, CT?
Re: ESPN/ACC new media deal - $7M per school
Especially now that Fox assets belong Mickey mouse Corp, they will be essentially a monopoly of college sports. This will also put major pressure on cable and dish companies as their only hold group was sports. H/e, expect that 4.99 price to go to 9.99 as it gains market share. Insert "this is fine" GIF
Re: ESPN/AAC new media deal - $7M per schoolIt certainly does not hurt to have UCONN in the conference (who has a lot of alums at ESPN).
